Winners
Matt Kalil did all he could to squash any rumors whether or not he’s a blue-chip, #1 OT. He came in heavier and was one of the highest in the 40 and 3 cone drill. His quickness and agility was on display all day and look the part of one of the best OT prospects in several year. Bobby Massie continues to have great offseason. He has long arms and looked very fluid in the on-filed drills. Showed good footwork and and solid overall technique. Should become a solid 2nd round selection. Jeff Allen is very similar to Massie. Allen’s stock has been consistently on the rise since the season ended. Looked great in his drills and displayed a suddenness you look for in an OT prospect.
Losers
There is no doubt that Mike Adams lost some money with his display on Saturday. Adams only put 19 reps on the bench press which was one of the lowest, and wasn’t able to crack the Top 5 in any drills. He came in looking soft and sluggish in some drills and now late 1st seems to be his ceiling. I’ve had Michael Brewster as the #2 Center all season, but after a poor showing at Senior Bowl and again at the combine, Brewster is looking more like a rotational mid-round prospect at this point. Levy Adcock hasn’t done anything to effect his stock, literally. He was injured and couldn’t participate in the Senior Bowl and for some reason wasn’t invited to the combine. So while other OT prospects have been able to show of their skills, Adcock has become a forgotten man among OT prospects.
