5′ 10 203 • Cornerback • Nebraska

Pros:
- Very physical and aggressive
- High confidence
- Challenges WR’s at the line
- Does a good job mirroring after the snap
- Quick feet
- Fluid hips
- Plays the ball well in the air
- Excellent in run support
- Would be a great fit in zone scheme
- Can play outside or as a nickle
Cons:
- Over aggressiveness makes him vulnerable to double moves
- Has quick feet, but lacks long speed
- Doesn’t transition smooth coming out of backpedal
- WR’s with size give him fits
- Has some durability concerns
MockDraft 101′s Opinion:
- Dennard is a gritty in your face CB. Is smaller than you would like, but plays bigger and isnt’ afraid to mix it up. He will never be a true #1 CB, but can develop into a solid #2. Looks like he could flourish in a zone scheme where his closing speed and tackling ability can flourish. Is a solid 2nd round prospect.
